pyro-manic
A quick query for those in the know: Which parts of the Fw190 (specifically the Dora) are not made of metal? I have the ailerons and elevators, which were fabric, but are there any other bits? I am looking at exterior parts rather than internals. Thanks, Pyro

tank152
The fuselage radio hatch, MW tank hatch on the fuselage under side and also the fuselage fuel tank cover again on the under side. All of these were sometimes plywood.
krow113
Yes wooden flaps , the prop of wood but -I think -covered in doped fabric. There is also a panel mid underside that was made of wood sometimes; The antennae behind is flexible too I think. Lets see the work!
pyro-manic
Thanks, all - that will be enough for what I'm doing. I'll post photos of the model when it's done.
MDriskill
You didn't specifically mention the rudder, that's also fabric over a light alloy frame of course. If you do wood landing flaps, keep in mind the internal detail of those is quite different from metal flaps. The longitudinal reinforcing strips visible under the cockpit were steel and not aluminum. Parabat
Not metal parts for Doras Really? I think you'll find the Doras had a mix of plywood and aluminium hatches.and even wooden and aluminium tails. Northstar Models
The question was, what parts were not made of metal. In ETL there are parts, I showed it. These parts can be made of metal and not of metal, in the ETL has it all. I apologize for my English, but I think you will understand me. Maybe I misunderstood the question, then I apologize. For the moment, I'm writing an article for a Russian magazine about the differences between different series of Dora and about test flights of D-9 in NII VVS in USSR.
