1/48 Tornado Decals

Can anyone tell me if the 'XV' roman numerals of 15 Squadron have changed at all over the years?. I'm currently building a 1/48 GR4 and getting stuck at the decaling stange as I'm wanting to do an up to date example but decal options are limited. I have 15 Sqn Buccaneer decals and thought I could maybe use the 'XV' from these.

Also need some decals for the fleet numbers at the top of the fin, anyone know the font and size for these in case I end up printing my own?

Any help appreciated.

here is a image of a XV tonka at lossie. the roman numerals font looks different from buccie days i thing.

i think hannants have released these new decals for the tail code.

It does look quite different when you see it from that angle. I've seen those decals too, might have to end up getting them. It's the numbers at the top of the fin I'm after which are in white, I'll have a look on Hannants and see if they do them in a different colour.

Just had a look on Airliners.net and the XV appears to be a different style back in 2005!!

they have them in white. just black in the picture.
