Living at RNZAF Wigram in the 70's, The unmistakable sound of a P & W engine (s) overhead, indelibly etched in my memory. Best thing though was to watch the Red Checkers practicing their routines. The best part about this model posting, is that i have seen this aircraft in the flesh so to speak as a young cadet at Wigram.
