PoppaMoomin
This is a "what if" project converting a vinyl M.a.K walker into a Wermacht Gun Carrier. The bits and pieces were all from the spares box and the main cost was the primer paint. . Edited December 7, 2012 by PoppaMoomin
Ian Shumsky
That looks like it was a fun project! Where did you find the base walker?
PoppaMoomin
It was a boxed collectable from Japan swapped by a pen pal way before the ebay generation. I just sawed off the rear canopy and swapped it with a DIY platform and Italeri gun (the 1/35th EBoat I think). It was very much a fun project, no need to worry about right paint etc etc.
Pete in Lincs
Not too sure but I think that is a Kafer (Cockroach or beetle) Nice job BTW Health & Safety will insist on harness' for the guncrew! Pete Edit. After a search around, it seems this one is called Gladiator. Which doesn't tie in with most of the others having WW2 German related names. The six legged one is Kafer. Oh. those crazy Japanese! Edited December 1, 2012 by Pete in Riyadh
PoppaMoomin
From memory (which is highly suspect!) I think the box called it a Gradiator. Have not seen any around for quite some time, was this a collectable collectable...oh dear.

Ossian
Lovely idea -- using the hatch for the aircraft recognition symbol is really good!
