Panzer Vor!!! Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 ok ive decicded ill buy the tammy famo + trailer for myself at xmas i dont want a tank on the back soo what eles could i use????
tommy1drop Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) Hi Panzer Vor Have you thought about using different type of vehicles to go on the back of the trailer such as a recovery truck(field workshop) an armoured car, half track or even an allied aircraft. The possibilities are endless, myself I would go for something entirely different from the norm, an allied aircraft shot down behind enemy lines already loaded up for examination would look different! If you do wish to put another vehicle on the back of the trailer how about an old beat up truck or armoured recon vehicle or an enemy tank, or simply load it up with a few kublewagon`s or staff cars with some freight, what ever you decide to build, I hope you are going to blog it. Panzer Vor!!! Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 the planes option is one im playing with but tbh they would have to be 1/32 scale not a cheap option

Panzer Vor!!! Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 hmmm good idea and you can get them in 35 scale wanna do the famo and the rest in grey though not yellow so still doable

Panzer Vor!!! Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 ouch nice but mebbe not starting to think on the lines of telegraph poles being replaced
pyro-manic Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Buy a cheap 1:32 plane, de-wing it etc? You can probably get a cheap kit (one of the old Revell/Hasegawa/Matchbox/etc) or a part-started reject for not that much money. A good opportunity to go to town detailing it as well - lots do do if it's a wreck or partly dismantled. If you want to take the easy way out throw a big tarp over the lot, and just have a few bits poking out. Another interesting alternative - though one that would require a bit more work - would be to do an outsize load along the lines of a U-boat engine, a warship turbine or a naval artillery tube. You'd have to scratchbuild it, obviously, but it could be a really interesting subject. Say a 28cm gun from a Panzerschiff? 1
Panzer Vor!!! Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 i once saw a piccy where they were moving marterials for the atlantic wall and had got it stuck going round a corner the men wee sat on the grass watching while the officers argued how best to move it
