Hi all,

not sure if I've set this up correctly, but this flickr account should have my photos taken this last weekend at FAA Museum Yeovilton.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/wheelwells_cockpits_engines/

Set 1 (200 photos)

Includes some shots of...

Fairey Gannet AEW.3, (XLl503)

Fairey Firefly TT1 (Z2033)

Grumman Avenger ECM6B (XB446)

Wright R-1820 Cyclone 9

Grumman Hellcat II (KE209)

Wessex HAS.3 (XP142)

Sea Harrier FA2 (XZ499)

Agusta 109A (AE-331) Argentine Air Force

Westland Lynx (XZ720)

Westland Sea King HAS.5 (XZ574)

Supermarine Walrus

More will be added next month when I get more free account bandwith. Bucaneers, Vampires, Seahawks and so on... :coolio:

Hope they're of use. Usual caveats about using restore/repainted/badly preserved aircaft as references!

regards,

Will

Hi Will, some superb detail shots there. Would be an idea about getting some of these pics linked up with the walkaround section.

I have some pics of the Firefly wings at Duxford but not attached, so it's interesting to see how they connected to the main aircraft. Was it possible to get a pic of the centre fuselage recesses where the wings fold away from?

On your Flickr site are you able to make sets up of each aircraft?

Martin

Dear Will,

You made my day! Thanks dude!

Have you had a chance to lift floor planking to look for the Firebrand? :-) this hurts! Three reference books I have are pretty useless :-( and it's time for me to post another WIP installment .....

thanks again!
