Julien
This is the 1/48 Kinetic Kit reboxed by Italeri. Nice kit, need the quickboost nose part as the kit intake is the wrong shape. Overall silver is Mitheril Silver from Games workshop. Red spine is humbrol all the markings are the kit decals which are great. Italian Aerobatic Display Team "Diavoli Rossi" 1958 This was an enjoyable model apart the canopy which really is designed to be open! Silver Fox
Very nice indeed, l Iike the clean finish, just right for a pampered aerobatic machine . I picked one of these up with the Quickboost nose in the kit swap at Telford, I hope mine turns out as nice.

Mike
Looks good Julien - that extra coat of Klear on the wings has improved it immensely

rafrobbo
Very nice Julien. I have this version too and wondered how well the decals would go on. Looks like they fit a treat and conform well.

Julien
Very nice Julien. I have this version too and wondered how well the decals would go on. Looks like they fit a treat and conform well. I just used the normal Microsol & set, worked a treat. Italeri decals do seem to work well. Just wish the instructions were better. You get a lot of stencil decal but the placement instructions are bad. Julien
pte1643
Them decals look like a nightmare. I think I'd have bottled it and painted the "Zig-Zags" and underwing "Tricolore". Very nice job.
Lightningboy2000
Superb work Julien, nice to see a Thunderstreak finished, and especially in that striking display team scheme. An underrated aircraft I think considering how many countries used them as display team jets. Martin

Julien
Them decals look like a nightmare. I think I'd have bottled it and painted the "Zig-Zags" and underwing "Tricolore". Hi, the decals are very good, thin enough to look good, thick enough so they dont tear. I tried the underside first as they would be easier to paint if went wrong, but no dramas at all.
