Shar2
Oh brilliant. I'd loved to have seen one in 1:350 but I'm certainly not complaining and will definitely be getting one.
bootneck
That's great news! Hopefully they will be in the shops when I get out to China. May just have to bring one home! MikeR
I see Trumpeter are also doing the Abercrombie as well. No doubt it'll have the same faults as the Roberts kit: http://new2.trumpeter-china.com/index.php?g=home&m=article&a=show&id=38&l=en http://new2.trumpeter-china.com/Uploads/201412/54801766947fa.jpg Further down there's an image of a 1/700 USS West Virginia in fully rebuilt configuration: http://new2.trumpeter-china.com/Uploads/201412/5480176c32f14.jpg Swap the turrets and alter the AA layouts and radars and that's the Tennessee and California wrapped up! Interestingly enough, I see no sign of the 1/700 Malaya kit - that was originally slated for a December release, whilst the Valiant's been pulled forward from March to January. I'm waiting for the Malaya and Valiant, to go with my Warspite and (WEM) Barham, problem is now that WEM have sadly gone, who will do the etch for the QE's? WEM were developing one using the Trumpeter Warspite but with parts for the others. Hopefully someone else will provide some etch. As for the US BB's, I'm still waiting for the Colorado but I've always wanted one of the full rebuilds like West Virginia, luckily there's plenty of etch already available to cover the basics like the radars, cranes, catapults, ladders/railings for any US BB but again, with WEM gone it's now that bit harder to get hold of! thanks Mike

dfqweofekwpeweiop4
The Trumpy HMS Malaya looks nice at first glance. You even get a small amount of etch but sadly the cranes are moulded only in plastic and there's no radar ariels for the masts. Hopefully Tom's Modelworks will release the WEM set for the Trumpy WW2 QE class battleships as that was going to have specifc and generic parts for each ship. thanks Mike

Geoff_B
Looked at the Trumpeter Aircraft catalogue section on the Facebook page and found it included the 1/200, 1/350 & 1/700 airctaft sets. Nowt new in 1/700, but in 1/360th they have listed the Swordfish, the Fulmar and the Skua might we be seeing a 1/350th HMS Ark Royal at some stage in 2015/16 ?
