Martian
I few months ago I mentioned that I was in serious danger of completeing a floaty thing. Well, this has finally come to pass! The model is of a British Welman midget submarine in 1/72 scale and was built form the Mr X Models' kit. As the kit was rather basic all of the finer details had to be scratch built. Given that I have never built a submarine kit in my life and knew nothing about them, I was rather pleased with the way it turned out. I was even more pleased, not to say amazed, when it was given a highly commended award at Telford. Thanks for looking Martin Edited November 14, 2012 by martin hale
HL-10
Being a submarine it's more a "sinky thing" Nice job, very smart looking model.

Aeronut
Did you know that a parachute was built with the aim of dropping the Welman (crewed) from the bomb bay of a Lancaster. No, honestly I have the reference (AFEE Report Res 28)
