If anyone is looking at buying this fabulous kit, check out the size of your storage or display cabinet. Here are a couple of pics showing what I mean.

The battleship above the Bismarcks one piece hull is the IJN Fuso.

Dave, it's a one piece hull and I imagine they have to leave that bit off for the mould to work. The bow parts look pretty good to me. Might need a smidge of filler around the joins.

It's pretty near the bottom as I've only just enough space to store it in the stash, and nowhere to display it if built. Have to find a bigger house first. Also, it does need a wooden deck.

Just wating on Pontos doing a set for this.......mine should be here end of the week.

I think Pontos will overdo it though. I was able to buy the kit with the metal barrels and update set free from WEM, so it really only needs a wooden deck. Brass turned masts and yards would probably work as well.

Truly a nice kit, but price and most of all size put it out of my reach. I have a 1/350 Star Trek Enterprise and a 1/72 U-Bout in line to be built some day and no place to even come close to display them.

This thing would take up most of the living room.
