Great Cockpit & Paint - really like the building stand you use, who makes it?

Hi, the stand is made by JHmodels. I have got it last year on a modeling vontest here in Czech Rep.

You can try Modelimex if you want one.

Thanks for all your nice and encouraging comments :)

I have started to airbrush the markings using masks.

Neat work - are the masks commercial ones or home-made?

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks :)

The masks are designed by myself but cut by specialists ;)

wow, that’s looking amazing, the paint job is beautiful.

Are the codes on the side hand painted or decals, they do look good, plus after seeing the markings i’m just going to have to use masks from now on!!

Well done!

Hi,

Thanks fo kind words ;)

The original codes were handpaimted so I've made the mask to simulate this.

This is only my second project using masks. They are realy great. I even consider buying my own small desktop cuttong machine...

Thanks

Nice effect with the airbrushed rivets, did you make a mask for them?

Cheers...

Hi,

First I've tried to make rhe mask using very fine drill bits but the result was not convincing. Now I have masks made on a laser cutter.
