Cobra Company Items Available to Purchase From Just Planes Hobbies

Hi all,

I'm the owner of Just Planes Hobbies in Australia.

I believe it is difficult to purchase Cobra Company items in the UK/Europe.

I have currently been able to purchase Cobra Company items to re-sell here in Australia, but at a cost.

The issue is that Cobra Company doe not provide a wholesale/trade price, so I have to puchase at his retail price, CC will only accept Westen Union for payment outside the USA plus postage costs.

The postage I use when purchasing is Priority Mail International as it is insured for value, but this is 2.5 more expencive than First Class Mail International, which has NO INSURANCE.

Therefore, when re-selling the items, it is the retail price+part of the Western Union cost+part of the postage cost+a small % for me in hadling/obtaining the items+postage to customer.

In relation to landed prices for items is hard to quote as it all depends mainly on postage & Westen Union costs.

With WU all I do is devide how much is costs by how many items puchased.

The way I work out postage cost for each item is to work out a per gram weight cost & then weigh each item & calculate the cost, there for each item is fairly priced.

I do not just divide postage cost by how many items ordered. It would not be fair on the customer for a blister pack to be charged the same postage cost as a boxed item which would weigh 4-6+ times heavier.

I have already purchase twice from CC of my Australian customers with no issues & I'm in the process of organising another CC order.
