wellsprop
Hi, I've put this post here and in the "decal" section to try and get some good repsonses. I want to build Hawker Hunter G-PSST as she is now. However, decals are an issue :/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/6508...096463486/sizes/l/in/photostream/ Basically I need 2x"Miss Demeanour", 2x ejection warning triangles (might have some in stash), 2x "G-PSST", 2x 899 sqn winged fist and 2x "johnathon "flapjack" whaley". I've considered making them myself but I've never done any decals myself. I can't find any aftermarket decals either. Any suggestions? Regards, Ben
gaelicfire
A company called Cammett LTD had decals, masks and paints for the aircraft. I don't know if they are still out there, but they do provide decals for the stars, etc. This is for the 1/32 Revell offering. Hope this helps. Kallisti
Robin Carpenter at Cammett (who did the original painting of Miss Demeanour) used to sell the painting instructions, decals and even ready-mixed enamel paints for the 1:32 Revell Hunter kit. I was able to contact him earlier in the year to get the decals and instructions, however since then his website has shut down and I've lost the contact information I had for him You can see what I did in this thread: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=234912772 and I must get round to finishing it sometime soon! Also in that thread is a photo of the cockpit that Jonathan Whaley sent to me and gave permission for me to share, which shows the updates that have been made to include modern GPS and navigation aids. Edit: Turns out they closed Cammett down to concentrate on model ship accessories at Scale Warship Lyd, see here: http://www.scalewarship.com/about.php and it even has a contact form and email for Robin. wellsprop
Fantastic build there I think I might have to get decal paper and varnish to print them myself :/
