1/48 Airfix BAC TSR.2

Recommended Posts

Seversky, that is simply exceptional, incredibly realistic modelling. Quite superb. That is one of the best, in fact quite possibly the best, aircraft model that I've seen on BM.

An aircraft with an all-white paint scheme sounds quite simple, but you have shown just how very complex it really is - and how very effective it can be when done properly.

Brilliant. Thanks for showing it. Any more to show?

Jon

Thank you very much guys for your appreciation of my work!

I tried very hard and it was not easy.

Yes, of course, at the end of last year I showed on BM model of CT-133 Silverstar.
There are many earlier models, but they are not so good.
In two months I will be ready to show a new model in 48 scale.
Good luck!

Stunning and truly amazing work!!!!

In the right setting I bet most people won't be able to tell it's a model, beautiful work!!

I do hope you post more work for us to admire, plus you need to have a build thread so we can steal your secrets! :D

I am pleased to show their new works.
Really have no secrets.
Just a few rules.
1. Aftermarket is evil! Use only in a pinch.
2. Small details give to model realism.
3. Do not forget about a sense of proportion. :coolio:

Thank you!
I tinted canopies from within by tamiya clears Orange+Smoke.
But, it is a very heavy process. Clears badly spreads on a surface.
Next time I will try the future + food dye.

  • 8 months later...

I'm building a TSR 2 and love the different shades of white you've used and want to use the same effect on mine. How did you do this? Was it using different undercoat colours and lightly overspraying with white, or are they white mixed with other colours?
