Time period would likely be late 1980s as I believe the Phantoms got the probes then (they were around in the early 1990s). general melchett Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 Lovely job Peter and I agree, that is just about the finest scheme to adorn an F4E, was thinking of doing a 1/32nd one myself at some point and after seeing this I may just do that.... Regarding refuelling, I was talking to a former IAF Kurnass pilot at Telford a few years back and he mentioned the RIO assisting with tanking ops, quite straightforward he said......but then this is an IAF crew we are talking about !.
