I got fixated on touching up the many flaws in the splinter camouflage and got locked into a feedback loop. Eventually I told myself that enough is enough and forced myself to move on. The odd thing is that as soon as I gave it a coat of Klear it looked a lot better. So I bunged the stickers on, added a few bits and piece - such as the wheels... - and started with some matt coats. Winsor & Newton Galeria matt varnish to be exact. And this is where we are now. I should be on track to finish next weekend, just squeaking in at the end of the GB - as usual! :-D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm glad the splinter on my IFV is so much simpler - fewer colours and bigger splotches.
