SH-37 Viggen

Well...   for a while there absolutely nothing seemed to be happening with this one.  I got fixated on touching up the many flaws in the splinter camouflage and got locked into a feedback loop. :banghead:

 

Eventually I told myself that enough is enough and forced myself to move on.

 

The odd thing is that as soon as I gave it a coat of Klear it looked a lot better.  So I bunged the stickers on, added a few bits and piece - such as the wheels...   :lol:  - and started with some matt coats.  Winsor & Newton Galeria matt varnish to be exact.

 

And this is where we are now.   I should be on track to finish next weekend, just squeaking in at the end of the GB - as usual!  :-D

That looks brilliant - great recovery and the colours look spot-on.

I'm glad the splinter on my IFV is so much simpler - fewer colours and bigger splotches. I'd hate to be a Swedish figure modeller though :)

Nice one Enzo. I have done this camouflage also, but in 1/48. I thought that it would make me crazy! But after seeing your paint job it starts to itch again.
