TheJackal
A lovely kit and minimal filler needed. Painted with Model Air Steel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. As a bonus it was only a fiver from Modelzone. 1/72 Academy F-84G Thunderjet by jackaldesigned, on Flickr 1/72 Academy F-84G Thunderjet by jackaldesigned, on Flickr 1/72 Academy F-84G Thunderjet by jackaldesigned, on Flickr
Mike DeTorrice
A classic early jet done here in fine fashion with this very neat metal finish. Excellent work ! Mike

Tango Fox
Beautiful classic. The protrusions from tip tanks are they guns or sensors/aerials of some kind. Don't think I've seen them before? Lovely build.
Tempestjohnny
Nice!! I have been looking to get the markings for Col. Lavens F-84. This was a real eyecatcher.
Paul J
Beautiful classic. The protrusions from tip tanks are they guns or sensors/aerials of some kind. Don't think I've seen them before? Lovely build. Air to air refuelling probes. More of a trial system before it was move to the centre, roughly, of the port wing. Agree about the nice build though. It has one of those looks of early 50s jets. Edited October 19, 2012 by Paul J

Actually it's just behind the leading edge in the wing root area of the port wing. You can see the refuelling aperture cover outlined with a red triangle on the model. Nice model. TheJackal
Thanks for the comments guys, I am pleased how it turned out. To be fair I though they were refuelling probes too. It was part of the reason I did this version, as most of the pictures I found were of the one with the yellow and black striped tail.
