Basically OOB except Pavla seat and Model Alliance decals. Decided to keep it quite clean. Oh, yes it's a tail sitter! Thanks for looking.

I am really sure the canopy doesnt open, just explodes off when the pilot ejects, with both crew entering via the front door.

Just read the memories of a 16 Sqn pilot at Laarbruch, didnt realise the Nav had to jump for it!

I guess you didn't want to spend 100 grams of weight for this. Understandable!

Nice job!

Very clean and neat build there. I indeed put about 200 grams of nose weight ib the front of this kit when I built her, however it took me ages to drill and pin the struts to strengthen the UC, Your compromise is understandable and doesn't take away from the build at all. :goodjob:

That'll be a D'OH from me then!! Thanks for letting me know!

I spent ages chopping up the canopy on my Revell 1/72 B1(8) only to find out it didn't open, so your not alone!!

Nice canberra though, got this in the stash to do!

Lovely looking Canberra!

I always thought the canopy did open like that.

You live and learn.

Excellent looking model. :goodjob:

Lovely build! I had no idea the canopy didn't open........................that's a bit silly really, typical British design :banghead:

It's a common misconception. The only Canberra with an opening canopy is the PR9. All the B2 and B8 variants both home and export used s crew hatch on the dude if the aircraft and fixed canopies

A lovely Canberra FF.

I am building this kit at the moment and have come across numerous sink marks and poorly fitting parts. There's already lots of filler on mine but yours looks just fine without a trace of a seam.
