Any thoughts or references? Being finished in GSB scheme. Alvin5182 Hook ,wheels,undercart legs,undercart doors,the whole shebang in fact except for the engine, prop,cockpit interior and the pilot. All other normally closed panels/inspection/maintenance hatches would be Zinc Chromate inside. As Chuck says paint damage or wear(especially on ship-board fighters)was quickly repainted because of the nature of the environment.
