So I finished the Hasegawa SAAB 37 Viggen converting it to prototype No.4

It isn't a large conversion. I added the sawtooth to the wings. Every Viggen have had them since this plane.

Now I am looking at the possibility of building one of the camera pods that was used during the test flights. I also noticed a bilge on the nose on a picture. Perhaps I will add them in the future.

Stridsfordon 9040B/Combat Vehicle 9040B - Swedish Army

Academy 1/35th with kit decals (not that it really matters with an AFV) plus indy-link tracks, metal barrel and etch all from the kit as well. Painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered mainly with MIG stuff. Build thread is here.

There are a few more pictures on Flickr. Thanks for looking, and thanks for all the organising and encouragement by the hosts.
Cheers,

As I said in the GB Chat thread, I got my dates wrong and assumed that the extension was to the end of the month, so I was waiting for promised better weather... I could've finished this entire last week, it just would've involved an open window and -15 Celcius!

But today I wrapped it up:

EDIT: Replaced the hasty iPhone picture with slightly better ones, even though I'm not entirely pleased with these either... Need a macro lens!

Well that's it folks. The Swedish Military GB is finished. My thanks to all those that started and congratulations to all those that finished. Some great models of some unusual topics all finished to a very high standard. For those that started but didn't finish, please feel free to complete your kits and post the finished version on the GB pages.

My thanks also to all those that took the time to vote, which leads me to my final act as host: congratulations to Will for his excellent CV9040, winning with a third of the votes cast. Congratulations also to the runners up Enzo with his splinter Viggen and Bjorn with his bare metal Canberra.

Till the next time everyone!
