It's time to abandon all further improvement plans and just say COMPLETE:

Overall it was quite enjoyable build and I'm pleased with the result, althought, as usual there is huge room for improvement.

Thank you fellows!

That's lovely. It really makes me want to get mine onto the workbench. Were there any "gotchas" to building it? Things Not To Do?

No "not to do things", but a lot of "todos". To mention a few:

- engine fans are way too deep. That is easy to fix, I have chosen to close intakes with red plugs often seen on parked aircrafts.

- no engine exhaust details. Again, I solved it by adding red plugs. If you want to make engine open you need to add details such as output contour, ribs etc.

- wheels are badly casted - rude and lacking details

- struts are too primitive. No wheel bay details and bays themselves are too shallow.

- be careful with cheat line decals. You need to apply cheat line (blue) then whilte ovals (that supposed to imitate window outline) atop of that and black ovals afterwards.

- detailing - no windscreen wipers, pitots, lights, etc.

The main conclusion - if you have this kit - build it now, if you don't - wait for this:
