Stesca
Gotta say i am very likely to pick this up, when you look at the price for some of the 1/350 scale detail sets around 90 pounds is very reasonable, Steve.
Bonhoff
At last - They've done something about the comedy Oerlikons! I picked up one for £40 (Reduced from £60) when it was discontinued a couple of years back and it's sat in my stash - If the new one comes with all etched handrails, the wooden deck, (Looks like they've done something different with the main gunshield too - Looks like more etch) and all that other gubbins for £90 then it sounds a bit of a bargain. However - And I don't have John Lambert's magnum opus to hand to confirm - wasn't it steel decking once you got past the foc'stle? (sp) - Best confirm that before I start removing all the planking on mine.
Stesca
I think you are correct seem to remember the bridge etc. may have been wood but steel deck pretty much from the breakwater area to the stern, Steve.
