russ c
Hi all, I don`t build many choppers, I`d like to but they take up too much room, but when this became available cheap I couldn`t resist it. was actually the German and French boxing, so had to raid the decal stash for the markings added one or two missing details in the cockpit but mostly OOB left the rotor blades detachable for storage Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking Cheers Russ
dr_gn
Great build. Such a strange machine, it's too compelling to ignore! I like the fine sling details and interior webbing too - it's the tiny details that make a model stand out like this one.

heloman1
Hi Russ, You made a great job of the old 'Banana', looks the ticket. Much better than the FM kit I made a few years ago which was a pig, wish I'd waited, maybe I'll get another. Thanks for sharing the pics. JeffreyK
Very nicely done!! I Particularly like the sliding window feature. I have both the Special Hobby and F.M. kits in the stash and intend to combine the best of both kits (if possible without causing too much of a headache). Jon Kunac-Tabinor
I saw this yesterday, and have waited until now as I wanted to express my admiration properly. Just plain beautifully lovely. That is a real modeller's model - those little details that make it pop into life are a joy to behold literally Top Banana!! hats sir Jonners
