Tango Fox
Bit of a rush job this one. But this kit builds up really nicely.

Spad
Nice paint job - what paints did you use for the orange and silver? If that's a rush job I would like to see what you do when you take your time. cheers Rick

Tango Fox
Paints are just humbrol ones stated in kit instructions. Yes it's kit canopy. Razor sawn open.
sean
Lovely looking build, how did the decals sit over the orange? Any problems? Sean
Tango Fox
Decals worked fine. Orange on wings and fuselage is sprayed over the silver so it kinda subdued a bit compared to the brighter looking orange on slip tanks which had a white base. But decals were superb. Hard to fault. I would say for perfections sake mask and spray white circles where you're putting rounders but this can make them look too new on a "used" airframe. JMChladek
Well, to use a Yankee baseball analogy, I think Airfix hit one out of the park when they created this kit as I have yet to see a badly done Gnat from this kit. Sawing open the canopy was a nice touch as it helps showcase off the cockpit a little more.
