fatbaldbloke
As soon as I saw the RM at Nurnberg in Feb 2011 I wanted one and got it for crimbo. I have noticed when trying to find reference images that 95% of them seem to be from people based in Croydon and info on routes north of the Thames seem to be a little harder to come by. In the late 70s I was a scrawny bespectacled kid living in Elm Terrace, Harrow Weald which was directly behind the bus garage. RMs were running on the 140 route still then but pics are very hard to come by. I know that there's a restored one running out of the garage but wonder if anyone has any images from the time? I woudl be particularly interested to know if the RML ever ran on the route as I'm not sure I'm up to cutting one down skills-wise and have already started on the chassis anyway.
