Thanks All for your very kind comments. I'm glad you like it!!

SimonR.......I took the odd photo of the build along the way. I'll have a look and see if I have any of the seats.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks Mark, I did a 1/48 green/grey camo hawk a little while ago and cant find any early seats to go in it (well, I did order some from Neomega and they never arrived, but thats another story!!) so some advice on the conversion would be appreciated!

Cheers Si

That's a lovely build and finish - as has been said - think that's one of the best 1:32 Hawks I've seen to date...

Wow, that is just beautiful! Great job!!

Two questions:

How did you get the great gloss finish? I've been trying for years to get a "scale" gloss, and you seem to have nailed it.

How did you get the light edges to the dark colours, like around the instrument panel coamings? It can't be a wash, as I would think it wouldn't stick there. Some kind of pencil maybe?

Cheers,

Bill

Beautifully finished and full of nostalgia. Brings back memories of thirteen year old settling down to watch the BBC documentary Fighter Pilot.

That's fantastic.

Was near Valley the other day, the black scheme doesn't look half as nice as the red / white / grey.
