PaulR
Evening all, I ' ve been pondering a 46 sqn hurricane from the Norway campaign, as I have a fabulous print of a hurricane landing onthe Glorious just after that campaign's ill fated venture. I know they had the pointy de havilland spinner, but what I really need to find out is... 1. Did they have metal wings or fabric wings? 2. What colour scheme did they have? Photos seem to show standard green and brown top surfaces, and I presume night/white undersides but I've also seen profiles and flight sim skins showing green/brown upper surfaces but sky grey undersides that extend high up the fuselage sides. google 46 sqn hurricanes and you'll see what I mean. I' d like for this to be true, but is there any photo evidence for this scheme ? Any help gratefully received. Paul
