jenshb Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 To try and break my abysmal track record for completing models for group builds, I thought I'd try something simple. Like Hasegawa's F-104G straight from the box. The plan is to use the Vingtor Decals and model one of the three Canadair-build F-104Gs that were painted light grey rather than being left bare metal. It may well end up like the aircraft on vingtor.net except the missile launchers and Sidewinders to comply with out of the box rules. Some of the bits have been loose in the box for a while, some ejector pin marks filled and tip tanks glued together. Hope this is acceptable as a starting point? Welcome to the STGB, this will be another very interesting subject. And I have to admit that as I'm planning a similar build, I'll keep a close eye on this one.
