Simon
Without wanting to ask an awkward question (oh, go on then!) - the legendary Saab Sk60 it says on their photo - legendary in what way, exactly? It's a cute little plane for sure, but legendary? Like a Phantom? Or a Spitfire? Hmmm....
Shalako
Very interesting kit indeed, and one that I have been waiting for a long time now. Homebee, do you have any photos from the kit's parts? Cheers Sernak

Albeback52
A brave and imaginative choice - especially from a non European manufacturer. Not really a type that interests me but, I hope it does well. Always nice to see a new game in town
Shar2
Well I hope the kit is better than their proof reading on the box art. In their design spiel they say they are "aying great attention to details", obviously not then.

Panoz
Is there such an great interest for a swedish jet trainer to justify the release of a 1/48 scale kit in four different boxings??? Original choice,I concur, but will people buy it? Weren't they supposed to be doing a Mirage III as well?
GreenDragon
Mirage IIIE and 5BA are still listed on their site, they did have a price of $69 IIRC but it's gone now. Paul Harrison
Caerbannog
Sure the Mirage IIIE will be out soon - I cut up an Eduard IIIC and started to convert it with RedRoo and other resin stuff easily worth 69 USD... Concerning the little Saab: I like the look of this trainer in the silver finish and would not exclude pulling out the wallet again. In fact I wonder why Saab aircraft have been neglected in this scale for such a long time (the time between ESCI Viggen and Hasegawa Draken). And Pilot Replicas will be without competition which I suppose is more important for a small company than to release another P-51 to exaggerate a little. I will get one if they include some aerobatic markings in there. Julien

Homebee
The project is reported in Aeroscale homepage as to be still alive. To be followed. Source: http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=14627 Quote New US manufacturer Pilot Replicas have been hit by a number of delays in bringing their home-grown products to market since they first appeared on the "rumour-radar" last year. Based in Coral Springs, Florida, Pilot Replicas still aim to produce their kits entirely in the US. Their current planned initial line-up is a series of five 1:48 boxings of the Saab SK-60 (Saab 105) Swedish jet trainer, with more subjects to follow: - ref. 48001 - Saab SK60 A - ref. 48002 - Saab SK60 A&B-RM15 - ref. 48003 - Saab SK60 C - ref. 48004 - Saab SK60 A-RM15 - ref. 48005 - Saab J105 OE “Tigerstaffel” Tiger meet 2008 V.P.
