RHWinter Posted January 21, 2019 Share Posted January 21, 2019 Weeell, you know, I was a bit frustrated: I am not such a huge fan especially of this Saab (although I like it), but more of some of the other birds, Pilot Replicas had announced some years ago. What frustrated me was the lack if communication by Pilot Replicas. Was it that their top-kit-designer fell seriously ill? Was it that the banks did not give them the money they needed to realize their planned schedule of kits? (If so: THAT we will never hear of, hahaha!) What ever it is/was: No communication. (Or did I miss something?) And: At least me, I do not like that! (Let's hope, millions of other modelers don't give a s**t on a lack of communication, but buy and build as soon as there's something to buy and build!) There is one simple explanation: Pilot Replicas is a hobby project run by one enthusiast and a few of his friends on their spare time. And the past two years, his ordinary job has taken too much time from this project. Ali62 Posted January 21, 2019 Share Posted January 21, 2019 Well I would be very happy if this comes off and would still like to purchase other kits they released but did not do so before it all came to a halt. I know how hard it is to produce and release stuff as a one man band so just give them all the support I can. Even more amazing is the amount they must have invested to get great injection moulded kits made, the Tunnan I built was and is and amazing kit, just sorry I missed the J-21 kit, oh well hopefully I will be able to get one some day, along with a SK60 or 2 or 3.............
