roymattblack
We seem to have a sudden influx of 'Fanderson'...... Here's my attempt at TB1....... As usual, a pretty grotty Aoshima 'toy' type kit. LOTS of filing and sanding, painting with steel Alclad and I made my own transfers as the kit ones were pretty naff. Weathering is simple spray from a rattle can of matt black from a distance using paper 'sheilds' and graphite pencil rubbed in too. Final coat of satin clear. All the best, Roy. Will Vale
Smart, I like the way the paint spatters create the sooty marks around the engine. Is this a different kit to the 1/144 one Aoshima do now - I thought that was supposed to be quite good?
philp
I have the 1/144th scale kit coming for a review and debating how to show it. What red and blue did you use?
roymattblack
Many thanks you guys. The kit stands around 8" tall, so not sure of the scale. I used Humbrol light blue with a bit of grey and white added, and the red is Revell Ferarri red. Silver was Alclad steel over black, over grey primer. Roy.
