GordonD
Found this photo of the Moon, taken from the International Space Station as it passed over the northwest US coast just after local sunset. The craft on the right of the picture is the Progress M-16M cargo freighter. Photo taken at 0542UT on 21 August.

GordonD
If you like that sort of thing then click http://www.feedblitz.com/f/f.fbz?Sub=14581 - this subscribes you to the Bad Astronomy newsletter. Every couple of days you will get a newsletter from an astronomer called Phil Plait - it's free and he posts some amazing stuff. Video taken by the Curiosity lander during the descent, the ISS crossing in front of the Sun during the transit of Venus, all kinds of goodies like those. Basosz
Phil Plait is awesome. He's a regular guest rogue on the Skeptics Guide to the Universe podcast where's he's usually hilarious. He's also done a few test episodes of Death from the Skies based on his book though I've only ever seen the first (there should be three)
