RAAF Avro Lancaster

Here it is. I have a bit of a problem, it's mainly all here except for one blade on one prop. There were 2 props with one blade

broken off each unit. I had the broken blade for one but the other is no where to be found. The foeward machine gun also had one barrel broken off but was still on the sprue so it was an easy fix. The decals look useable, kit was made in Germany? Never knew

Matchbox had a facility in Germany.Well I guess I can start but I will have to decide what to do about the missing blade. Anyone have

an old Matchbox Lancaster headed for the bin?---John

If you can't get a MB prop, I'm sure someone will have a Revell one as the kit comes with paddle and needle types. Looking forwards to your build, don't you just love that artwork on the box ?

I started painting on the cockpit interior. Cockpit and bombadier's nose area are black and the radio room

back are RAF interior green. On the figures what color for RAAF WWII bomber crew? Brown jacket, blue pants,

brown helmets and yellow Mae Wests?----John

Thank you, I also have the Revell kit with wide and narrow blades. I will keep my eyes open

on e-bay to see if I can purchase a Matchbox partial or parts only kit.---John

I have the cockpit done and crew added. Probably crude by today's standards but you

won't see much of it anyways.---John
