Roy LeMont
Are there any clear pictures of the nose art on XT-287? I've looked at the XV Squadron website, Thunder & Lightnings, google, the Wings Of Fame issue on the Buccaneer, and the old Aeroguide monograph on the Buccaneer but can not find one. Any help would be appreciated. Roy

Roy LeMont
Rizzo, Thank you for the link; I had already seen that one. Unfortunately it cuts out what appears to be the crew names on the upper left corner. Again, thank you for the help. Roy

wadeocu
Roy - sorry to say but I think those pictures at the other end of the link are as good as you are going to see. The bright side is no will be able to prove you got the names worng either. My only suggestion would be to post or email some of the old hands on one of the sqn assc sites and see if anyone may remember any of the crew names. - Jack
Roy LeMont
Jack, Thank you for the advice. It's surprising those markings weren't better documented. Roy
TEZ
Hi Roy, Why not contact XV Squadron at Lossiemouth. The squadron will have an officer whose secondary duty is concerned with the history of the unit. A trawl through the squadron line books / diaries would provide the answers.
