If it is the 1/96th scale Revell Alabama that is being built, there may be an issue. Revell may have used the Kearsarge hull as a re pop for the Alabama. The real Alabama was 12 feet longer than the Kearsarge. I understand that a company named Bluejacket Shipmodel Crafters in the States makes an excellent wooden plank and frame Alabama kit, that is very accurate.
