Peter Marshall
I'm currently building a Pzr 38(T) Ausf E, which i'd like to do as a member of either the 25th Panzer Regt of the 7th Panzer Division in 1940. The kit doesn't provide any divisional markings, so i'm looking for some. Now I know the symbol for the timeframe, so I could print some of my own, but i'd need the size. Failing that does anyone do any decals / dry transfers for 7th Panzer Div in 1940 ? edit: Found these which seems like a lot of money for the 2 decals I want http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/PSL35002 Thanks. Peter Marshall
Nope - it's the 1940 version one - the inverted Y with three dots (that's why i can quite happily print one, assuming I know the approx size). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7th_Panzer_Division_(Wehrmacht) Thanks

JackG
Eduard did make a brass stencil set for all kinds of markings, including the one you are after: http://www.cybermode...edu_xt029.shtml Archer transfers has the inverted Y but no dots: regrads, Jack Edited August 18, 2012 by JackG
Peter Marshall
Thanks - i've cut some masks in vinyl using my Craft Robo, i'll see how they do, as it's about the limit of how small you can cut.
Peter Marshall
Well I used the masks that I cut, and they seemed to work well (possibly very slightly overscale, but it's about the limit of what can be cut) Peter Edited August 25, 2012 by Peter Marshall
JackG
Looks like you've tackled those markings quite well. Just thought of another route that can be tried - cut some decal strips of the appropriate size and shade. regards, Jack
