HL-10
Italeri's M47 Patton is an old, but sound kit. The only things I added was a figure from Verlinden, some clear lenses from MV and I replaced the kit's M2 Browning with one from the Academy set. I also added some kit bags and ammo cans. I used Tamiya acrylics to paint it and I used their textured paint and Mig pigments to weather the model. Thanks for looking.
fatfingers
Nice work on one of Italeri's best kits! I built one of these many years ago and it was the first kit I ever airbrushed! Got one in the stash at this very moment (Revell boxing) Nice work with the Tamiya textured paint too. Regards, Steve

HL-10
Thanks for the compliments everybody, I'm glad you like the Patton. I remember seeing this tank painted grey and masquerading as Tiger Tanks in the film "Battle of the Bulge". I did toy with making one as a mock Tiger with a Robert Shaw look a like commander in the turret.
IainA
Hi, nice build and I like your weathering. One small point. Your tracks appear to be metallic. The M47 had T84E1 tracks which where rubber pads held together with steel rod, guides and end connectors. Edit: Ooops! Sorry for commenting nearly three months later! I've only just come across this. The tracks look that way because of poor photography I did paint the pads black, but weathering and a poor photograph has given them a shine.
