I assume you mean the bar at the top of the screen which has the carrier/date/power level which is always there. It works Trevor

Daniel
Mike, Is the new version compatible with Tapatalk or similar? Dan
Mike
I would guess so Dan - have a look at their site and see if it will work with IPB 3.x.x. With this being the latest version, I would be very surprised if it didn't, but you need to confirm it for yourself

CarLos
Mike, thanks for all the work done. Is there any "printer friendly" view? Also, is there any way to download an entire multi-page thread? Carlos
Mike
Cheers Carlos There is - scroll down to the bottom of each topic, and you will see a row of tiny icons, such as Twitter, Google+, Digg etc. At the end of that list are the three useful ones Email the topic Print the topic Download the topic Pretty handy, eh? The Print topic just brings up the thread in an ink friendly format, mush as it used to in the past
CarLos
Thanks Mike! However, I only can download one page. In the old version I could print to a PDF several pages at one, if I remember well.
Giorgio N
I connected this morning after a week or so break and wow it's different ! My only small concern is that it seems a bit more CPU intensive than the older version. Not a problem for most but I can hear the fan spinning faster on my older computer. Guess it's another good reason to bin the old laptop and buy a new one... Edited August 14, 2012 by Giorgio N
Mike
However, I only can download one page. In the old version I could print to a PDF several pages at one, if I remember well. Wibble? There's such a thing as "Print to PDF", isn't there? I'm sure I have/had it whereby I could redirect the output to a PDF creator rather than a real printer. If that doesn't make sense, have a look on t'internet
cheeley
For printing to PDF I use this http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ In the settings, I untick the 'automatically check for updates' as it can slow things down if you print to PDF without opening the program first. I'm not affiliated with it in any way, but I've been using it for donkeys years Chris
