capri-schorsch
Small update. The capri was stripped of his hoods and a door. It was pretty easy. The Würth Decals with printed discs are already there. greetings Christian

capri-schorsch
My model-making mojo is back and I continued building on the Capri right away. The door has found its fastening. I built the cage from the resin sides together with aluminum pipes. I worked the rims from the back so far that you can see through the grille. The vehicle height has now been determined. Now I go to the subtleties like closing small holes before I start installing the motor-gearbox dummy. I hope that the updates will follow a little faster because I now have the decals for the white Würth, the black D&W and the Liqui Moly Capri here. So I have to build the Capri 3 times. best regards Christian
keefr22
Excellent, great to see this beauty back underway Christian! All looks really good, but I do love those wheels! Looking forward to more! Keith

capri-schorsch
Go on. The Capri was primed so far and now also filled with nitro filler. There were very few holes in the body. Now it's time to fine-sand and then prime with white. Will definitely be the Würth version by Klaus Ludwig. greetings Christian

capri-schorsch
Update: The Capri has now been primed in white, the later base color. Grind again and then comes the next layer which can hopefully remain the last. Besides that, I started this vehicle. First of all, the rough unevenness was removed with a 2k spatula and then spray spatula was applied. Much remains to be done here. greetings Christian

capri-schorsch
Thanks AJ! Update Capri: I painted the front spoiler and the doors with the airbrush. With the spoiler, the decals wouldn't have worked. Let's see how it works with the black on the fender. Maybe I have to do some paint afterwards. greetings Christian
capri-schorsch
Most of the decals have now been applied. A few are still missing or need to be changed. But come this week and then there will be clear varnish. I still have to dab a little black by hand around the rear window and on the fenders. The decals were too small. And if you look closely at the prototype photos, you will discover different stickers and designs on each vehicle. I have now decided on an original car from the Nürburgring race. greetings Christian

capri-schorsch
Decals have now all been applied. Now touch up with the touch-up pen and then apply clear coats the next weekend. First construction site completed. regards Christian

Troffa
Touch up Pen? That looks flawless Christian! What a fabulous replica you are producing, I'm tempted to get a smaller scale version of the Capri for my bench.

I can recommend the Tamiya 1/24 version although the kit is quite expensive nowadays if you can find one but builds up nicely. Here's one i built a while ago
capri-schorsch
Digging out some old one. Before I start the next one I wanted to finish this Zakspeed Capri. First step was to print an engine for the big hole under the front hood. Regards Christian

capri-schorsch
Right now I finished the engine. It's quiet ok. Time to move on with the rims and other stuff.
