Frank.W. Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I should like to present my second diorama in 1/16. It shows a little scene one morning in winter 1942. The size of this diorama is 60 x 40 cm Thanks for the visit of my topic. Best regards Frank 4

Learstang Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Brilliant job, Frank! It's amazing how squat the early T-34's were with that small two-man turret. Regards, Jason
Frank.W. Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 Hallo, thank you very much for the great feedback. My english is very bad, sorry. The snow is made of baking soda fixed with clear paint. best regards Frank
bradlad Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hi Frank you have done a beautiful job. Work like yours is an inspiration to us all. I only hope my SU100 will come out half as good as your work. Thank you for posting............... I will try to steal some of your ideas. (hope you don't mind) Mike
FrancieT Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Love the weathering on the tank, great job all round!
Frank.W. Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 Thanks for looking and for the comments. There is nothing to steal. Otherwise I should not publish the images of my dioramas. Quite the contrary - I'm happy about your motivation "to steal some of my ideas". Best regards Frank
Learstang Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hallo, thank you very much for the great feedback. My english is very bad, sorry. The snow is made of baking soda fixed with clear paint. best regards Frank Your English seems quite good to me, Frank, certainly nothing to apologise about. Now how about an ISU-152 diorama - now there's one I'd love to see. Best Regards, Jason
Basosz Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Very nice job ! It really is very lifelike. Is that Trumpeter's T-34?
Frank.W. Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 I repeat me - and I like this to do. Thank you for your feedback. At the moment I'm not planning to build an ISU-152 diorama. I've many models in 1:35 and 1:16 but no ISU-152. I could imagine a Berlin diorama with this tank. Back to this diorama: Yes, it's the Trumpeter T34 76 modell 1942. Here some pics of the interior. I haven't detailled the interior with cables and wires, because I had not the intention to show it. Nevertheless, here are some pics: And here I've found a picture with the glow in the barrel. I want to show this also. Thank you for looking once more. Best regards Frank
Basosz Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I'll repeat from the other topic: You are a diorama building god! I'm gonna use your pics as a reference for when I'm gonna build my own T-34. Absolutely excellent work !
SPARKER Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Awesome, simple as that. Thanks for sharing
Frank.W. Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 Thank you very very much. Sorry that I answer only now. Best regards Frank
