jaw
I would like some advice please. I am contemplating building the 1/72 FAA and RAF Merlin helicopters. I think that the only company that produce these id Italeri. How accurate are they and what is the Merlin TT they advertise? Thanks, John

The canopy centre frame is too wide, but that's fixable. If you want to see them before commiting, pop up to Loxwood, I have both. As for the TTI, that is the Italian navy Merlin with a rear ramp. Seahawk
AFAIK, the RAF Merlin HC.3 (with rear ramp) has only been issued by Revell.
Rob P
AFAIK, the RAF Merlin HC.3 (with rear ramp) has only been issued by Revell. It was re-released by Italeri earlier this year, so is available again.
phildagreek
I've built both the FAA version and the Canadian Forces one [bright yellow SAR]. Both were good builds, good decals and they look like Merlins when sat on the shelf and viewed from about an inch away with the naked eye. And there, my expert knowledge and opion ends. Hope this helps!
