Eddie Rickenbacker

I was asked to paint this by a friend from my local model club. Not sure what scale it is (1/12th?) but it is the resin bust from the 1/48th DML Spad. No construction at all but the cap has been altered to show the buttons fastening the other way to represent the British Ocverseas service cap which Rickenbacker apparently wore. I finished it last weekend and hope to give it back in a couple of weeks. Modern combat uniforms are rather out of my comfort zone as being colour blind all the subtle different shades of green/brown/khaki etc. are a nightmare! I end up painting everything by numbers in this case Humbrol 250 and HG12.
