madaboutmodels
Hello EveryoneThis is my Airfix 727-200.It was built straight from the box.The decals are a mix of 737-800 and A320 decals, i didnt have any actual Lufthansa 727 decals......As you can see it is in the present scheme. It was the only 727 to were this livery. The tail is alot darker as well. Im using my phone and it has a very bright flash...I hope you Like it.Thanks Bradley Edited October 2, 2013 by madaboutmodels

Romeo Alpha Yankee
Nice job Bradley, your modelling skills improve with each model you build! I wish I could get around to finishing an airliner!
Tango Fox
Very very smart indeed. one of the classiest liveries there is and very well represented here. superb.
Mike DeTorrice
This is a beautifully built 727 replica, Bradley ! I sure agree this is an especially cool livery and your Boeing must certainly be a neat model on display. Mike

garryrussell
Nice Bradley What would finish it off a treat would be the silver markings on the tail and window surrounds arround the missing windows... odd ones at the back plus a few at the front on the side you're showing. Perhaps those are there but bleached off in the pic? http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=391651 http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6176591&nseq=19 Garry
madaboutmodels
Hi Gary The window outlines are there, the flash wiped them out of the photo. I have just got some decals from my spares, so it will have the silver on the front of the stabiliser, silver on the rudder line and silver on the elevators. Thanks
garryrussell
Nice one Bradley, I did wonder about the flash...little details like that really finish a model off
madaboutmodels
Hey have been added, for the photo this time I will turn the flash off.
madaboutmodels
Here you go Gary, hope this looks better. This one is without the flash, it shows that the tail is actually darker. Thanks

Viking
That is a real cracker Bradley, your best yet. The 727 looks really smart in that scheme. Cheers John
madaboutmodels
Thanks John I think that the 727 was built for the Lufthansa scheme
rmcclure
Nice one - not really a civil aviation fan but I've always had a thing for the 727. On the phone flash thing, try a layer of tissue paper (strip it down to just one layer if it's two-ply) taped over the flash. It diffuses the harshness pretty well. Works for compacts and other cameras with pop-up flash.
madaboutmodels
I might try the paper and flash
