HL-10
I built the Panther and Kubelwagen with no real intention of putting them together on a base. Then along came a new microwave oven with a large block of foam packing. I saw potential in the foam and did a few sketches of an idea for a diorama. I always liked split level dioramas and the foam gave me the opportunity of building one. Once cut to shape I used Tamiya's brick walls to make the retaining wall. Model railway accessories provided the cobbles on the top road way, and I made the bigger cobbles from squashed balls of modelling clay. The railings were made from brass rod and I down loaded the posters from a web site. The Panther was OOB with a crew from Dragon. The Kubelwagen was OOB too. I added the motorcycle at the last moment. The figures were from Tamiya. Some were reposed and some had new heads from Verlinden. Thanks for looking. TinHead
Great work! That fella behind the Kubelwagen doesn't look to happy about having to wait! Andy
Fazer
looks like a fair bit of work you have done there nice layout & good interaction between the figures. Some dio's look a bit unrealistic in the way they are set out. what's up next? Mark
