Warris
As I've never used these engine replacement sets before I thought this would be a good place to start then if I messed them up I could use my other kit and do it out the box Using my photos i've started opening up all the holes on top Top set all in place now time to put the wings together I also put the gear doors and wescam on at this point While the glue is drying on the wings will crack on with the fuselage will post more photos soon Al Edited August 3, 2012 by Warris

Deacon
You've made a cracking job of putting that engine set onto the kit. I'm almost tempted to get a set for when I build the Nimrod. Deacon

Warris
Thanks for the comments I'm trying to push on with this project but struggling getting the wings to sit right on the fuselage but I will persevere any way some more photos of where I am at the minute I'm using my walkround photos I took while I was up at Kinloss so trying to put in all the raised details that are not in the Eduard set Looking at the photos this hole is too far down the fuselage so moved it up a bit Also thinned out the generators on the wings Apologies for the photos i've not got the best lightning in the shed but i've achieved what I needed to with these hopefully get the wings sorted then onto the nose Al

Warris
Cheers Deacon A bit more of an update Cockpit together and attached to the fuselage, a bit of work needed here This side is good Right to get the glazing to fit was a nightmare, I furture I wouldnt spend the extra £26 on this set it has been a right cow ive had to put so much filler in it to get this effect Im dreading the unmask anticipating lots of green filler showing The rest of the etch brass going on I managed to ping the surround for the light and it got swallowed by the carpet monster so made one from plasticard its nothing like Eduards but it'll do Starting to look like a Nimrod now Final picture for now the rescribing begins Thanks for looking Al
