Paul
I've dug out an Airfix Canberra PR.9 and will hopefully start this weekend. One question though, ARTF was camouflage grey-ish right?

kspriss
Yes-ish It did weather badly though...until they tried to remove it apparently Steve
SaintsPhil
Welcome to the GB! If its the same grey ARTF they used in Bosnia then I was reliably informed MSG is a good match Phil
Rich F
Hi Paul, As Phil says I'd go with MSG, it did weather quite alot. For the Canberra GB I used Vajello MSG lightened with white then sprayed on some intermediate grey to create a patchy effect that you quite often see on the ATRF canberra's. And the finished article... If your interested the build thread is here
Paul
Thanks chaps, MSG it is. I hope mine turns out half as nice as yours Rich! I've made a start on the cockpit This is my first Canberra of any sort (for shame!), so far it seems a great kit.
kspriss
found a pic on airliners.net of xh131...with heavy weathering. http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK---Air/En...ad07890fe4491a9 HTH steve
thx6667
IIRC correctly the ARTF grey on the Warden HARs and the Afghan Canberras was BS381C 262 Camouflage (Barley) Grey.
