MiG-23MF Trumpeter 1/32

Recommended Posts

Hello Arkady

Just 1 question.

From the numerous pictures and books Icollected on the MiG-23 , cockpits always appear in that typical russian shade of blue-green.

You painted yours in black-grey . Is it an "artitistic licence " or did the Pole repainted their MiG-23 cockpits in this shade ?.

As I am planning to do this MiG-23 in a light grey scheme , I would be pleased to have some informations about this matter .

Thanks a lot and all my congratulations go to you.

.

Cockpit color should be russian blue-green. I used mixed grey with some green paint, but the result is not convincing as you see...

I think the best paint for that is oil ModelMaster russian interior color.

You really know how to make a long time modeller feel like a novice. Your weathering and corrosion control touch up painting is beyond perfect. You aligned everything correctly and above that your a hell of a photographer too. Beautiful Mig sir!

Hi Arkady

:shithappens:

Thanks a lot for this information. Actually , black-grey adds a touch of " this guy should have pictures I don't ! ".

A masterpiece anyway .... :smartass:

Seriously dude, stop making us look bad!!! As usual, built to perfection, a beautiful, beautiful model. You get 2 "beautifuls" 'cos it's so flippin beautiful. You're on top of your game, long may it continue.

I've just done something I haven't done for a while - bought a kit on the basis of someone else's build.

I'll just send you the bill, is that OK Artur? :tease:

Exquisite model.

Regardless of any perceived inaccuracies this is just eye candy at it's best.

The whole project is about as professionally presented as I've seen.

Definately something to aspire to. Thanks for taking the time to share your photos Arkady.

(Just one thing though who is Trupmeter ?..)..

It's a new European model manufacturer who make flawed copies of more expensive Chinese kits.... :wicked:
