jaw
Good evening Bmers, I want to purchase a 1/72 Tornado F3 and GR1/4 for my collection. I know that some of the maufacturers of these are either Hasegawa or Airfix. Which of these is best? All comments very welcome! Thanks, John
SaintsPhil
Hasegawa for the F3 for detail at least..not so much for price, Revell for GR1 but you need some extras for GR4, there is the Hasegawa GR4, which is best for OOB Edited July 11, 2012 by SaintsPhil
AirfixAndy
As Phil says above the Revell 1/72nd GR1 kit is lovely ....the Hasegawa Tornado GR4 kits nose is a bit short . Relish Models do/are doing a resin GR4 conversion set .....its the FLIR pod you need. For the F3 the Hasegawa kit is very nice but the price most certainly aint ! They crop up on ebay quite regular....thats your cheapest way of getting one . The Revell Tornado ADV ( F3 ) is a very nice kit also .....and a lot cheaper !
