robw_uk Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Does anyone know if the Dragon/Cyber Hobby StuG III Ausf.E can be built as an Ausf.F? Looking at the sprues there are extras not used - including what I assume is the barrel off the asuf.f. Anyone know which parts replace which other parts? also, a more generic question if I want to 1) load up the rear of the StuG or 2) add a decent number (5/6) tank riders for Operation Barbarossa what kits can I look at? is it things like Black Dog, Legend etc or is there a more generic "german tank supplies" or "german tank riders" that I can use? thanks in advance
JackG Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Well problem with time frame, as the F version appeared about 8 months after barbarossa kicked off. Not familiar with the kit contents, but to upgrade to the Stug F you need a longer gun and there was also more armour added in June '42 along with an even longer gun. Also a fan was added to the turret roof. Google is your friend, and you can find all kinds of goodies doing an image search. Sample of stug stowage 1/35 http://www.google.ca/search?q=stug+stowage...75&bih=1033 Same can be done for tank riders. regards, Jack
