wbk666
This should a be a quick build but the little kit isnt without its problems. quite a bit of filler needed for a start. The wheel bays are a gaping hole so i blocked them off with some plasticard The italians really looked after their pilots, this seat looks more like an armchair LOL Canopy is very thick and very small, i'd never have been able to mask it before i was tipped off about the single side razor blades Edited July 9, 2012 by wbk666
snowen250
I've just finished one of these, i found the engine going into the cowling to be an interesting fit! Mine turned out ok though, what scheme are you going for? Simon
wbk666
not decided on the scheme yet i'll have a think about it tomorrow. i struggled a little with the engine until i noticed the two opposing tabs that it slotted onto *doh!* All primed up a drying now
wbk666
All painted up now awaiting a coat or two of klear mostly done with airbrush apart from the ochre and brown patches which i did by hand with a brush. I didnt think i could handle this pattern with the airbrush. I'm quite happy with the end result.

John
This brings back many happy memories! I had a bit of a "thing" for Italian aircraft when I was young but you only had 2 kits each from Revell, Frog and Airfix to work with, before Supermodel came along with their rubber tyres and rub down transfers! I remember having the version of this kit with the aircraft upside down on the box art. John
CYA
Nice little craft, you made a nice one out of that oldie! However, i can't help but notice that you switched the right and left national insignia on the wings! Is that still possible to correct? Sorry to point that out... Cheers, Rob
